My name is Rebecca Overton. I live to create. I have always been a self-taught artist that loves to fill a blank canvas. Nature, wildlife and outdoor photography is my passion. I enjoy sunrises and sunsets, National Parks, hiking and writing poetry. I must create to fill my heart with its purpose. The beauty and mystery found in God's creations are blessings, if we choose to see it...to be outdoors on a trail with a camera in my hand, the smell of sunshine and pine awakens the passion in my soul. I love trees, the clouds and weather, the details in God's creatures and creations in every design. Simplicity and solitude, yet full of complex mystery waiting to be discovered. Life unfolds, but ever-changing, before my eyes and the camera is ready, if only to capture yet one more photo of a lifetime in my "One life to love" ...Like sand in an hourglass, Before it slips away. Photography has the power to inspire, move me and touch my soul. Moments can make me laugh out loud or hold back tears, sometimes both simultaneously. Every capture is a moment, a moment that slipped away.
