New Orleans panorama skyline shows the Mississippi River under the Crescent City Connection bridges at sunset which connects Old Algiers to historic New Orleans. This view is unusual. You have two bridges together and then splitting apart. The resulting photo leads eyes to the two opposing half circles, forming an s-curve. A multi-image stiched together drone shot shows a very different view of the levee system that helps to protect Old Algiers Point across the Mississippi River. New Orleans, The Big Easy, is lit at sunset across the river. This levee is 13 ft. high and is now a biking, walking trail park system on top of the levee. The road is wide enough to allow police and other protective services to monotor the area. To the right is the railroad and tracks. Old Algiers Point Victorian homes have seen a fair bit of renovation. We liked the area a lot. (RB)
